I would laugh if Alliance and Najin dont qualify.

  • CJGamesEVER

Woah 1 milion $. It’s very very big prize 😀 WP RITO!

  • elferarri

:)) Nice Btw Guys I Wish To Rise And Play At Comption 😀 And Will Do Even with Noob Friends But Will Rise

  • Oh, wow

You call this big price pool? Dota’s internatiol had a price pool of around 11 million USD.Beat that

    • Mentro

DOTA doesn’t pay its players a salary throughout the year while League of Legends does. DOTA also doesn’t have as large of a national following or pro scene as League of Legends does, therefore there aren’t as many salaries to pay. Finally, League pays off prize pools through the year while DOTA only pays the international. I mean im fine if you like DOTA more than League but dont insinuate that DOTA pays more. League shells out far more money over the course of the year and supports all its team while DOTA does not.

    • asdasdasd

      no one cares ….

    • max

Dota is also owned by Valve, the creators of steam who make billions from that. 1m coming from riot who only have league of legends to rely on is a lot more than 11m coming from valve..

    • LoL Beta

That is because LoL has a lot to pay for its employees. But the $2.13 million is already big as the teams that qualified have commission from all the sales of summoner icons brought throughout the world. Moreover, not only are they paying out the teams that qualified, they also pay teams that joined the qualifying leagues in every part of the globe, not to mention that they provide additional cash pool to every tournament in every league, if not providing the cash prize single-handedly. Your $11 million is nothing compared to the total expenditures Riot has all year round.

    • RodLake

Valve pays the same pool as Riot, the difference is payed by the Compendium buyers. And still only 25% goes to the pool. Valve takes your money, gives just a little part of it to the pool and makes you say Dota is better than Lol based on just that. The average Dota player IQ must be low in order to let that happen and still be proud of it. 😛
