RLCS Esports Betting – How To
The RLCS Esports betting process is a rather simple one, although you will have to do some due diligence and research certain important aspects of it. In general, RLCS is an exciting, incredible tournament that all RLCS fans look forward to.
The whole affair lasts for more than half a year, with the Fall Split Major starting in December and the Finals ending in August. The RLCS Finals are the culmination of each team’s hard work and the Spring Split Major is the final step and final chance to qualify.
As for the betting process, this is how it should go:
- There are many Esports betting operators that support Rocket League betting. It is up to you to find which one you prefer the most. There are a couple of discernable differences between all of them, such as odds, betting markets, payment methods, etc.
- Once you’ve found your preferred betting operator, go ahead, and create an account on their website. Following the links we’ve provided, you’ll earn certain bonuses as well. Make sure to include your real name and address, as, without these, you won’t be able to receive your winnings if you win.
- Set up your chosen payment method and deposit a small amount to verify it so you can start betting. You’ll most likely receive a bonus upon making your first bet as most bookies do this to help you get started. Bonuses can vary but are generally somewhere around 100-150% of your first bet or deposit (up to a limit). As for the payment methods themselves, most bookies usually accept PayPal, credit cards, Skrill, and some forms of cryptocurrency (such as Bitcoin).
- You’ve now prepared your account and are ready to get started on some research. During this process, you should get acquainted with the teams, the tournament, as well as past results to get an idea of which team to bet on.
- The last step is simple enough – place a bet you’re comfortable with and enjoy the show by watching the official live stream!

Popular RLCS Betting Markets
Betting markets are, in short, the types of bets you can place. There are a couple of them specifically made for Rocket League, as well as others that can be found everywhere else in Esports.
- One-on-One – Bet on a player to have more goals/assists/saves than the player he’s pitted against
- Total Goals Over/Under – Bet that there’ll either be more or fewer total goals than the number presented to you (ie. you bet on more than 6 goals happening)
- Correct Score – Bet on the correct final score (ie. 5-3)
- Outrights – Bet on which team will win the tournament
- Match Winner – Bet on the team you think will win in a team-on-team matchup
- Special Bets – These differ from bookie to bookie so make sure to properly understand what they’re about. Certain esports games aren’t ‘equipped’ to have special bets prepared for them so you shouldn’t base your entire strategy on them.
RLCS Spring Major Betting Odds
Due to the tournament still being some time away, the bookies haven’t yet released any odds. This will change as we get closer to the tournament; odds are usually prepared a few days before the first match so keep an eye out for any updates on the bookies’ websites. If you’d like, check the odds yourself by visiting 1xBet, LOOT.BET, and Thunderpick – or any other bookie we’ve mentioned in this article.
What is the RLCS Spring Major?
The RLCS Spring Major is the third and final Major of the Rocket League esports season. It serves as the prelude to the RLCS 2021-22 Finals which will be held in August later this year. Two teams have already qualified for the World Championship Finals – G2 Esports and FaZe Clan.
For everyone else, their performance in the RLCS 2021-22 Spring Split Major will determine whether or not they directly qualify, qualify as a Wild Card (competing in the Play-In tournament for the Finals), or qualify at all.
The RLCS Fall, Winter, and Spring Majors were supposed to be introduced in 2021 but this was scrapped due to the pandemic, so we can safely say that the RLCS 2021-22 Fall, Winter, and Spring Splits are the first of their kind in competitive Rocket League.
Compared to previous RLCS installations, every season from now on will be divided into four main events (3 Majors and the Finals) and will be held annually (compared to bi-annually and without the Splits in every previous year).
So, if you want to start your Rocket League esports betting adventure, you’ve arrived just in time to watch some spectacular matches and place some great bets!

RLCS 2021-22 Spring Major Favourites to Win
G2 Esports
G2 Esports is a staple name in the esports community nowadays and they’ve been absolutely incredible in this year’s tournaments. However, G2 wasn’t always as good as they are today but as soon as Atomic joined the team in January 2022 the squad has looked extremely strong.

G2 did show us some moments of brilliance in the past and the team has managed to win three RLCS titles (RLCS Season 5 North America, RLCS Season 9 North America, and the latest – the RLCS 2021-22 Winter Split Major).
Due to their most recent successes, it’s safe to say that they’re one of the favourites to win, if not the favourites. If they can continue this tremendous form, there’s no doubt they’ll at least reach the Grand Finals of the Spring Split Major.
Team BDS
Team BDS has kept ⅔ of the same roster since its inception, with M0nkey M00n and MaRc_By_8 (who is more of a substitute nowadays) currently employed by the team. However, the full active roster of M0nkey M00n, Extra, and Seikoo is rather new (with Seikoo joining in late April 2022).

Nonetheless, they’ve achieved a lot in the past but their performance in the RLCS 2021-22 Winter Split Major wasn’t as satisfactory as they’d hoped (7th-8th place finish). With that said, Team BDS has won a couple of RLCS tournaments and they’re still a force to be reckoned with.
They’ve won the RLCS Season X – Fall: EU Major, RLCS Season X – Winter: EU Major, RLCS Season X – Spring: EU Major, and the RLCS 2021-22 Fall Split Major. Also, they achieved an impressive 2nd place finish in the RLCS Season X European Championship.
FaZe Clan
FaZe Clan is another staple name in the esports industry but they’ve been involved in Rocket League esports for just two years. 2021 was their first competitive year and it wasn’t a great one. The only results of note are their win in the NA Regional Event 3 and a 3rd place in the RLCS 2021-22 Fall Split Major.

— FaZe Clan (@FaZeClan) May 29, 2022
2022 isn’t much better but the team climbed the rankings on merit and performance and they’re currently the 3rd best team in the world. They’ve consistently finished in high positions but never managed to win any of the biggest RLCS events. With that said, many see them as one of the favourites who have the potential to reach the Semi-Finals (at least).
Sypical is the newest addition to the roster (joined the team in January 2022) whereas Firstkiller and AYYJAYY have been around for relatively long.
