How To Bet on LVP SuperLiga

Betting on LVP SuperLiga isn’t difficult at all. You’ll still need to have some knowledge for your bets to make sense, but otherwise, the process is usually simple and quick, no matter which bookie you choose. On top of that, LVP SuperLiga is an excellent League of Legends esports tournament, which isn’t surprising seeing how LoL has become a huge esports game.

Here’s what you need to know for betting on LVP SuperLiga Spring 2023:

  1. Choose a bookie you’ll be using to place your bets with — There are many factors you should look at before choosing a bookie, including which betting markets they have, how good their odds look like, what payment methods they accept, and whether or not they offer any betting bonuses. You can compare these features and select a bookie that you deem best for your betting needs.
  2. Create an account and verify it — Once you’ve chosen a reputable bookie, you’ll have to create a betting account because you won’t be able to withdraw your winnings or receive betting bonuses otherwise. You’ll most likely have to choose a username, a password, and enter your email address. The latter is important because it is where they’ll send you a verification code/link with which you’ll be able to activate your account.
  3. Set up your preferred payment method — All reputable bookies support dozens of payment methods, with the most popular being credit cards, PayPal, Skrill, various cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, NETELLER, and others. The key difference between these is transaction times which can range from 24 hours to seven days. Also, keep in mind that some bookies may make a ‘test transaction’ to confirm the legitimacy of your payment method (ie. withdraw 1 cent from you and deposit it back). This usually happens in a minute or two, so you don’t have anything to worry about when it comes to that.
  4. Take some time to research the teams and players — The only way you’ll be able to win your bets is by being acquainted with the teams, players, and the overall League of Legends esports environment. It’s also worth finding out which esports countries the organisations come from because teams from certain regions need to go through a tougher tournament circuit to reach the World Championship. And even then, these teams will face some of the top powerhouses of LoL esports so the odds will be stacked against them. In short, gain as much knowledge as you can before placing your bets.
  5. Start small and work your way up — If you’re just starting out, try to keep your cool and start small. Place a match-winner bet (or a couple) on the teams that are the favourites to win and see how that turns out. Eventually, you’ll be able to follow a strategy that’ll enable you to win your bets more frequently, but you should still expect to see some bets fall through. Regardless, take things slow in the beginning and work your way up from that.

LVP SuperLiga Betting Markets/Options

The betting markets for LVP SuperLiga are essentially the same as for any other League of Legends tournament. Let's take a look at the most popular ones:

  • Outrights: Despite being some of the simplest betting options out there, outrights are also infamously difficult to get right, especially when a lot of teams are competing. The reason for this is that you’re betting on the team you think will win the entire tournament or league. These bets are usually only available just a day or two before the event begins, which makes them frustrating if the team you bet on isn’t playing well. However, the odds associated with outrights are superb, and if you do win, you’ll be rewarded handsomely.
  • Match Winner: Match-winner bets are also simple, but they’re better suited to beginners than outrights. Here, you’re simply betting on one of the two teams in the match-up. The odds for these aren’t great, so punters usually create multiple match-winner bets by using a bet builder/betting slip. It is important to note that for your betting slip to be successful, all of the bets need to be successful as well. If you get one wrong, the entire slip will fail.
  • Most Kills: Simply put, you’ll be betting on the player you believe will get the most kills in the given match. These bets are also good for beginners, though you will have to do some research for insight into which player is most likely to get the most kills.
  • First Blood: Another ‘easy’ bet for beginners, this one is about who you think will get the first kill of the game. Most of the time, this is is difficult to predict because first blood depends on too many factors to consider — and even then, an unexpected player might get it. However, their odds are pretty good, so this is definitely a high-risk, high-reward sort of bet.
  • Over/Under: This betting option isn’t seen in the esports betting world too often, primarily because of how gameplay works in other games. But when it comes to MOBAs, it’s very popular. In essence, you’ll be given a couple of betting choices for how long the match will last (15-20 minutes, 20-25 minutes, 25-30 minutes, etc.).

What Is LVP SuperLiga?

The LVP SuperLiga is a League of Legends tournament organised by LVP. In its essence, LVP SuperLiga is the official regional league for Spain and features 10 Spanish teams. The entire league is divided into two primary splits — the Spring Split and Summer Split.

Each of the splits lasts around three months and the teams play 18 matches against each other (they play each team twice) for the duration of the league. The teams that come out on top will qualify for the EMEA Masters tournament.

On top of that, the teams receive a specific number of Championship Points based on their finishing positions in each of the two splits. The two teams with the least points at the end of the season will have to play in the Promotion series to attempt to keep their spots in LVP SuperLiga. If they fail to do so, they will be demoted to the 2nd Division.

Overall, there are plenty of matches to watch and even more types of bets to place.

Favourites to Win LVP SuperLiga Spring

Team Heretics Academy

Due to a large number of roster changes and still unconfirmed rosters, the team most people have pegged for victory is Team Heretics. Their previous season was their first one and they’ve already achieved a lot, having won SuperLiga Summer 2022 and the EMEA Summer 2022 event.

On top of that, they finished 2nd in the Iberian Cup 2022 tournament. Team Heretics is, arguably, the most consistent team at the moment and will be extremely tough to beat.
