In December 2015 the LCS license of Gravity - LCS NA Team Logo Gravity was bought buy NBA legend Rick Fox. The new team is called Echo Fox LoL LCS NA Team Logo small Echo Fox.

In November 2015 Team Coast - LCS NA Challenger Team Logo Team Coast was aquired by a group around Andy Miller  (One of the owners of the Sacramento Kings NBA team), and Mark Mastrov (Owner of 24 Hour Fitness). The team was renamed to NRG Gaming LoL LCS NA Team Logo small NRG Esports. The team player contracts were also purchased by the group.

In October 2015 Logo of LCS Season 5 Spring Split Team Team 8 Team 8 was aquired by a consortium of investors and rebranded to Team-Immortals - NA LCS team Logo -small Immortals.

  • ↓ Enemy eSports - LCS NA Team Enemy Esports were relegated for loosing the Promotion tournament against Team Coast

In December 2015 Vitality - EU LCS team Logo Team Vitality aquiered the LCS spot of Logo of LCS EU Team Gambit Gaming Gambit Gaming

In October 2015 Team Dignitas EU - EU LCS team Logo Team Dignitas EU was aquired by Follow eSports (FE pro) - EU LCS team Logo Follow eSports (Fe Pro)
