The Summer Split Playoffs of the LCS Season 5 | 2015 decide which teams are representing Europe (EU LCS) and North America (NA LCS) at the League of Legends World Championship 2015. The 3 stages of the Playoffs are running on 3 consecutive weekends in August. While both winners will go the World Championship directly the other 2 slots per region will be determined by the standings in the Championship Points Standings (find out more about that below). In both LCS leagues the top 6 teams from the regular season of the 2015 Summer Split make it into the Playoffs. The top 2 teams get a bye to the semi-finals of the tournament. You can find the exact dates of all stages below. While the first two rounds will take place in the LCS studios in LA and Berlin, the Grand Finals will take place in Stockholm for the EU LCS and New York City for the NA LCS.

Schedule and Bracket LCS Summer Playoffs 2015
Like in spring all 3 rounds of the LCS Summer Split Playoffs will be held on 3 consecutive weekends. The dates for the quarter-finals and semi-finals are confirmed now as well. The team on place 3 after the regular season will play against the team on 6th place while the 4th placed team takes on the 5th team in the quarter-finals which are running on Saturday, August 8th and Sunday August 9th. The top 2 teams at the end of the regular season get a bye to the semi-finals of the Season 5 Summer Split Playoffs wich are played on Saturday August 15th and Sunday August 16th. The Grand Finals of the LCS Summer Split Playoffs 2015 are scheduled for Sunday August 23rd while the match for 3rd place is running the day before.

To qualify for the 2015 World Championship teams need to either win the Summer Playoffs, score the most points in the Championship Points standings or qualify through the LCS Regionals (August 29 – August 31).
