Team BDS is one of the newest Esports teams in the world, with their first entry into competitive Esports being Rainbow Six in 2019. Since then, the team expanded into two more games that we’ll cover in this article.

We’ll also be taking a look at Team BDS betting; how to do it, when to do it, and if it’s worth it.

Who are Team BDS?

Team BDS is a new Esports organization that originates from Switzerland. They’ve first set foot in Esports back in 2019 with their Rainbow Six team. From 2019, Team BDS has expanded into two other Esports gamesLeague of Legends and Rocket League.

Since their inception, the team has achieved quite a lot over the course of 3 years. That is, in Rocket League and Rainbow Six. Their League of Legends tenure has technically just started due to them finally being able to clinch an LEC spot.

The story of how this came to be is an interesting one, and we’ll cover it in the next section. But for now, it’s worth noting that such a young team generally doesn’t have very high expectations, yet they’ve proved time and time again that they aren’t to be trifled with.

In conclusion, Team BDS are a formidable opponent in both Rainbow Six and Rocket League. How their adventure in LEC will unfold – we do not know. However, if we’re judging it based on their aspirations and roster signings, Team BDS has grand plans. Here’s what it’s all about:

Team History

Team BDS is both a new Esports organization and a young one. Now, this might sound redundant, but their rosters are literally very young. Most of their players have relatively recently started playing their respective games.

On top of that, they seem to have a knack for talent, having recently signed some strong players from other respectable Esports teams such as Fnatic and AS Monaco Esports.

Here’s a quick look at their most valuable players over the years:

Full Name Nickname Age Esport Title Winnings
Evan Rogez Monkey Moon 19 Rocket League $202,869
Marc Domingo Marc_By_8 20 Rocket League $202,761
Adrien Rutik Rafale 24 Rainbow Six Siege $153,235
Olivier Vandroux Renshiro 27 Rainbow Six Siege $162,340
Adam Maanane Adam 19 League of Legends $39,791

Let’s start with League of Legends. The Team BDS LoL tenure began near the end of January 2020 with them joining the LFL Division 2; the French Second Division. There weren’t a lot of fans that expected a fresh new team to join LFL Division 2 and win it but – Team BDS managed to do just that.

They won the LFL Division 2 with a score of 13-5. And thus, the team earned a promotion to the LFL, France’s highest competitive League of Legends division. However, they could only manage 4th in the LFL Spring 2021 tournament, and an even worse 6th in LFL Summer 2021.

And so, the Team BDS Esports adventure took a sudden turn when Schalke 04 Esports decided to sell their LEC spot. Team BDS, the ambitious organization that it is, decided to purchase this spot for the LEC 2022 season. They’ve also revamped their roster but more on that later.

As for Rocket League, Team BDS has been fairly successful in 2020, even managing to win the RLCS Season X – Fall: EU Major after defeating Team Vitality 4:2. But that was nothing compared to 2021.

Without even a roster change, the team started playing like crazy. They have been dominating the Rocket League Esports scene from the beginning of 2021, all the way to the end. And what happened at the end? Well, they won the RLCS 2021-22 – Fall Split Major of course!

The same formula of winning can be seen in their Rainbow Six team as well, although not as pronounced. In their first year (2019), Team BDS produced a couple of good results but nothing overly impressive.

Except for qualification for the Six Invitational 2020. This is the largest and most prestigious Rainbow Six Siege tournament out there. And, although Team BDS didn’t win it, they still finished a respectable 4th, an incredible result for a relatively new team.

They didn’t quite show periods of dominance as their Rocket League comrades, but they were (and still are) a force to be reckoned with. Here’s a summary of their best Esports results.

What Games do Team BDS Participate in?

Team BDS currently takes part in three Esports titles – League of Legends, Rainbow Six Siege, and Rocket League.

League of Legends

Team BDS started their League of Legends tenure in the French Second Division. And, in their first competitive season, they won the whole event. This earned them a promotion to the LFL but with some mixed end-of-season results.

In general, Team BDS was never good enough for the top spots of the LFL. But, there’s no denying they don’t have ambition. So, when Schalke 04 Esports announced their departure from the LEC, Team BDS was quick to purchase the vacant spot.

They made the decision to revamp their roster as well, replacing all 5 previous players with new ones. The new roster was assembled on the 20th of December, 2021 and consists of Adam, Cinkrof, NUCLEARINT, xMatty, and LIMIT. Their coach ‘Grabbz’ is a decorated LoL coach whose previous tenure saw him and G2 dominate the LoL Esports scene.

Rainbow Six Siege

Rainbow Six Siege was the first Esports title that Team BDS used to announce their presence in the Esports world. The team was formed in 2019 and has since then achieved some pretty great results.

However, they aren’t yet ready to fight against the best Rainbow Six teams which is evident by their past performances in S-Tier events. Nonetheless, Team BDS will keep giving their best and potentially improving in the future.

Their roster has remained the same since the beginning, with two players replacing old ones in 2020. The current roster is made up from Renshiro, Shaiiko, Rafale, Elemzje, and BriD.

Rocket League

Finally, we reach the game that Team BDS is most famous for (unless something changes in the future). Rocket League has been a success for Team BDS since the start, but they’ve kept getting better and better as time progressed.

We’ve now reached a point where they’re the undisputable champions of Rocket League, constantly vying that first place and winning it. There are a few 2nd place finishes here and there but overall, they are incredibly strong.

And, with a roster that has played together since 2020, who’s to say they won’t dominate Rocket League for a year or two more? It is thanks to their current roster (Marc_by_8, Monkey Moon, and Extra) that they’ve achieved this.

Because of this, you’ll generally have an easier time with Team BDS betting due to their continued strong performances. Still, there are a couple of things you need to look out for so pay attention throughout this next section.

Is Team BDS Betting a Good Choice?

Absolutely! Putting aside the organization’s age, their teams have been performing incredibly well over the past few years. Even nowadays, they are still an impressive bastion of strength.

You’ll still want to take all the variables into account before placing your bets because, although they are one of the strongest teams in Rocket League and Rainbow Six, upsets can still happen, as can a sudden drop in performance.

Nonetheless, we haven’t been seeing a lot of that in recent times. Besides, all the signs are pointing that Team BDS do not mess around in any of the games they play. Just keep away from Team BDS LoL betting for now.

In general, you should stick to Team BDS Rocket League betting as it has the highest chances of producing winning bets.

  • Lowest chances of winning due to the nature of the bet

  • Excellent odds
  • Team BDS are usually the favorites
  • Hard to predict
  • Team BDS are the favorites (in RL) so the odds are lower than expected

Best Game for Team BDS Betting?

At the moment, Rocket League is a very viable choice for Team BDS betting, but you could also go for their Rainbow Six team as well.

Both choices have great chances of making your bets win, with Rocket League being a slightly better choice than Rainbow Six.

Esports Betting Pro: Our Verdict
