Copenhagen Flames is a Danish esports organization, mostly known for their presence in the CS:GO esports scene. The organization is also known to have competed in other esport games, such as Overwatch, Fortnite, and FIFA. Following their win at PGL Major Antwerp 2022 Group B, many will be looking to bet on the Copenhagen Flames. Here, you will find out how.

Who are Copenhagen Flames?

As its name implies, Copenhagen Flames is a Danish esports organization based in Copenhagen. Initially founded on July 7th, 2016, the team quickly rebranded on November 22nd, 2016, changing their logo. Owned by CEO Steffen Thomsen, the organization has, over the years, competed in several esport scenes, with their most prominent being Fortnite and CS:GO. Whilst not always hugely successful, the team has made great progress in recent years, and we see a bright future ahead of them. The organisation once fielded an Overwatch team, which was disbanded in 2018. Similarly, their League of Legends team enjoyed some success while it lasted, but it was disbanded in late 2019.

Copenhagen Flames CS:GO

Copenhagen Flames CS:GO was founded on 7 July 2016, originating from the Aquiver esports team. Throughout 2016 and 2017 the team remained relatively quiet, even retiring from the CS:GO scene before returning to the stage in 2018 with a brand-new roster. Until recently, the esports organization has enjoyed little success on the big stage – however, the team won the United Masters League Season 2 in tier-B on 29 January 2020, and since then has been on a rise. In 2021 they participated in the PGL Major Stockholm, facing off against elite teams such as NiP and Team Liquid. Whilst they were knocked out of the competition in 9th place vs NiP, they learned a lot from the experience.

Come PGL Major Antwerp RMR B 2022, they would once more face off against NiP. This time beating them with a staggering 2-0! The roster to achieve this feat includes Jabbi, nicoodoz, roej, HooXi and Zyphon, with vorborg acting as the coach. Check our full article on CSGO betting here!

Copenhagen Flames Fortnite

Copenhagen Flames Fortnite currently has a squad of three players – Swag, FlowiS and PabloWingu, with Swag being the veteran, having joined in 2020. While the team hasn’t enjoyed much success recently, they have in the past, with one of their most notable achievements being 2nd place in the Solo Cash Cup: Chapter 2 Season 6 Week 3 in Europe. Unfortunately, Swag did not manage to bring the top prize home.

The roster is composed of young players, so time will tell just how talented they are – and perhaps one day they will stand at the top of the podium.

Copenhagen Flames FIFA

Copenhagen Flames FIFA was founded on September 9th 2021. The roster participated in a single tournament before being disbanded on March 11 2022 – the FIFA 22 Global Series EU East Qualifier 2, placing 17-32. The squad was composed of Cruise, Indisk Magi, JeppeLK and Jenner. If you’d like to know more, check our full article on FIFA betting.

Copenhagen Flames Betting Tips

1. Manage your bankroll in a smart way.

Never, ever go all in. You want to spread your balance across several bets to make sure you have the highest chance of winning! It is important that you think and plan before making any bets, in order to avoid losing all your money at once, and therefore, the opportunity to win more.

2. Look for the best odds!

Shop around! Different sites will have different betting odds, so don’t put all your eggs in one basket, and do NOT be afraid to change who you place your bets with. Make sure you get the most value for your money!

3. Take advantage of welcome offers and betting Promotions.

The esports betting sites we have talked about all offer welcoming offers or betting promotions of some kind, and it would be foolish not to take advantage of them – after all, it’s free money! When your initial deposit is matched, it allows you to place more bets.

4. Bet live!

Live Esports Betting allows you to adjust your bet depending on how the game is progressing, meaning you have a higher chance of winning. Betting live also allows you to pull out or change your bet if you think you are going to lose, giving you more opportunities to win.

2. GG.bet

GG.bet is a great esports betting platform – with perhaps one of its only disappointments being the fact it is not available in all countries. However, it’s selection of games to bet on does not disappoint – with titles such as CS:GO, Dota 2, League of Legends, Fortnite and even Rocket League, there is something for everyone. They also offer FIFA esports betting, which is quite rare. GG.bet offers very competitive odds and live betting, putting it up there with its top competitors.

3. Betway

Betway has a long history, having been founded in 2006. Given that they’re still around, you know they’re good! One of the sites more prominent features is the bonus offers. 4. Arcanebet

Arcanebet is a betting site dedicated to esports. They offer some very generous bonuses, such as matching 100% of your deposit up to $200. They also offer quite a few niche esport titles, such as Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and Overwatch, as well as the major ones such as CS:GO and League of Legends. They offer live betting, and they also offer Bitcoin deposits – very modern of them. In typical esports fashion, the website is slick in design, with a carbon look to it. Bets are easy to make, odds are great, so what’s there to think about?
