The International 2015 Group Stages are now over. Judging from the level of Dota 2 played during the group stages we are in for one hell of a main event. The group stages just showed how serious the teams are in competing for the Aegis of the Immortal. There were some really exciting games, from the epic rapier games between MVP.Phoenix and Invictus Gaming to Evil Geniuses picking, probably the most annoying hero in the game, Goblin Techies not once but two straight times against CDEC.Douyo in an all important matchup. There have also been a few surprises. Last year’s finalists, Vici Gaming and Newbee find themselves in the bottom bracket of their respective groups, while three of the eight top teams have gone through the wildcard stages. The most surprising team would be CDEC.Douyo finishing second in Group B.
