What Is the Champion of Champions CS:GO Tournament?

You’ve probably never heard about the Champion of Champions CS:GO tournament, and that’s because CCT CS:GO events aren’t really that big. Sure, they pack proper Tier 2 CS:GO action, but they aren’t that lucrative and can’t attract the top ten teams.

We’ve gone through four CCT series thus far. The three directly qualified teams according to their points tally are Copenhagen Flames, ForZe, and MIBR. The Central Europe Final will sport eight teams in total, with the five remaining spots reserved for invitees.

The circuit consists of 44 regional qualifiers, 44 online series with $1.8 million in prize money, as well as 11 studio finals with Global Finals as the icing on the cake. Eleven studio finals (CCT Central Europe being one of them) feature $1.1 million in prize money, which is $100k per event. The Global Finals, on the other hand, will feature $500,000 and is bound to be one of the standout tournaments this year.

How To Begin Betting on CCT Central Europe Finals

If CCT Central Europe Final is your first CS:GO betting campaign, you’re in luck because below we bring forth a short step-by-step guide.

  1. First things first — register at an esports betting app or website and confirm your identity and email address.
  2. Next up is to log into your newly-created betting account and use your preferred payment method to deposit some money into it.
  3. Once the money shows in your bankroll, navigate to the available betting markets, find the esports category and click on CS:GO.
  4. From there, you’ll be able to see all ongoing and upcoming CS:GO tournaments as well as their respective betting markets.
  5. Do thorough research, select your choices, enter your desired stake, and press the “Bet Now” or “Place Bet” button. That’s it!

CCT Central Europe Finals Betting Markets

If you’re looking for esports betting markets for Eden Esports’ CCT Central Europe final, you’re at the right place. Once again, no bets are available at the moment, but once we know all eight participants, they’re bound to start pouring in. These are the bets we can expect:

Match-Winners

This is the standard bet type, and it focuses on the final result of the given match. In terms of esports bets, match-winners only have two options: Team A or Team B. Other sports (like football) have a draw as the third outcome. With match-winners, your task is to guess the correct outcome.

Futures

Esports betting futures allow you to place wagers on the outcome of esports tournaments before they begin. This type of bet allows you to predict which teams or players will come out on top, adding an extra layer of excitement to the viewing experience. Futures bets can be made on a variety of leagues and tournaments in different esports, such as League of Legends, Dota 2, and VALORANT.

Props

Esports props represent bets on specific in-game events, as well as certain live betting options, maps, rounds, and even some of the above-featured futures. Props come in all shapes and sizes, but don’t expect full coverage for the CS:GO CCT betting campaign; unfortunately, only the biggest esports events out there get full prop coverage.

Live CS:GO bets

Lots of online betting platforms offer live esports betting markets. While CCT CS:GO tournament isn’t exactly the most grandiose event next month, bookies are bound to have at least some live bets available.

As the name suggests, live bets are wagers placed on the outcome of a match while it is still in progress. This allows you to follow the action of the match and make predictions of the final outcome based on momentum shifts. Live CS:GO bets drastically improve the overall viewing experience, which is why they’re so popular in the first place.

Accumulators

Don’t forget accumulators! They consist of multiple bets placed on a single slip, all of which have to go through for the accumulator to win. Yes, this is much riskier than placing multiple single bets, but the payouts are much greater too. It’s the perfect example of a high-risk high-reward bet.

Champion of Champions Finals CS:GO Tournament Overview

Here’s a quick 101 regarding CCT CS:GO tournament’s format and prize pool:

Format

We’re looking at a two-phase tournament here — group stage and playoffs. Here’s what they’re going to look like:

Group Stage — The group stage features two double-elimination groups with four teams in each. Opening matches will be played as best-of-ones; all following matches will be bo3s. The top two teams from each of the groups will advance to the playoffs.

Playoffs — As for the players, we’ll see four teams play a double-elimination best-of-three bracket. This allows a wee bit of room for errors. Make one, and you’re okay. Make two, and you’re out. It’s as simple as that.

Prize Pool

Unfortunately, the prize pool distribution of this tournament is still an enigma. All we know at the moment is that it’s going to feature $100,000, just like all other studio finals of the Champion of Champions Tour.

Which Teams Are Taking Part in the Champion of Champions Tour CS:GO Finals?

The three qualified teams so far are:

They will be accompanied by five additional invitees. While it is still unknown which teams got the invitations, we will likely find out in the next couple of weeks.

If you’re interested in betting on CCT CE Finals, you ought to arm yourself with facts! So let's have a look at what the confirmed participants so far are all about.

Copenhagen Flames

The new CPHF roster is definitely a force to be reckoned with. That August rotation yielded great results, though it needed some time to adapt to new surroundings. But, once it did, CPHF went on quite the winning spree — CCT South Europe #1, CCT Central Europe #3, and CCT Central Europe #4 all went in their favour.

That just goes to show you CPHF is going to be among the main title contenders here. Of course, the five remaining teams will have a lot to say about that too. If there are no top ten contenders, we wouldn’t even be surprised if CPHF end up being the main favorites.

ForZe

Next up, ForZe. Their CCT series performances weren’t actually that good. You see, they performed on South Europe, North Europe, and then Central Europe CCT events, but their best result happened back in late September – Early October last year. CCT Central Europe Series #2 was the occasion and ForZe came out as the winner after beating OG in the finals.

Unfortunately, they’re having big problems with their consistency. Sometimes they play really well, then they go on to win a couple of matches from an underdog position… only to come back and start a losing streak against a lower-tier team.

However, they’re simply not consistent enough against weaker teams to present a real threat to the top boys. In the end, we guess it depends on who fills the remaining five slots, really.

MIBR

MIBR is the third qualified team. The Brazilians made a statement on the very first Central Europe series back in late August last year. In the grand finals, MIBR took down 1win who proved to be tougher than many had thought.

Overall, MIBR’s recent performances have given their fans a mix of emotions. It was an emotional rollercoaster all year long, but capped with a superb performance on ESL Challenger League Season 43 NA. A quick reminder, EG went down 3:1 thanks to a dominant performance by exit.

Can MIBR do something notable on CCT Central Europe Finals? Well, again, it all depends on the final five spots.

Tournament Schedule

Like we’ve mentioned earlier, CCT Central Europe Finals #1 kick off just two days after Valentine’s (that’s February 16th for you single folks). As for the exact start dates and match/phase schedule, we don’t know much. Once we learn new info, we’ll be sure to update this section.

Where To Watch the Champion of Champions Tour CS:GO Tournament

The Champion of Champions Tour Central Europe Finals will be available on Twitch, on two CCT channels linked right down below, so make sure you check them out:

Summary

Even though CCT Central Europe Final isn’t the biggest event in February, the entire circuit definitely deserves a lot of praise. The charm of this particular event greatly depends on which teams end up accepting the invitations, so hopefully, we’ll see at least two top ten teams join the show. If that’s the case, then CCT CS:GO LAN spectacle in Malta is going to be a blast!

FAQ

CCT Central Europe Finals Betting FAQs

The CCT Central Europe Finals #1 is the next tournament of the series, and is set to start on February 16th and run through February 19th. Just enough time for these teams to show what they’re really worth!

At the moment, nowhere. But relax, the tournament starts in roughly a month — there’s still plenty of time for bookies to get the odds up for you. Don’t expect concrete results in the next two weeks because of the craze called IEM Katowice.

Short answer, no. Long answer, while CCT Central Europe Finals is a notable event, it’s a lot smaller than the likes of IEM Katowice, which starts on January 31st. If you’re looking for top-tier CS:GO betting action in the coming weeks, IEM Katowice is the tournament you should be looking forward to.

The prize pool for this tournament amounts to $100,000. It’s a solid amount for a LAN event of this size, especially considering the participants. But, as far as the official prize pool distribution goes, at the moment we don’t have any details.

Even though there are still no tangible markets for betting on CCT, you can expect lots of variety once the tournament kicks off. Bookmakers are bound to offer bets like match-winners (a.k.a. moneylines), as well as some of the main props such as total maps over/under, player with most kills, and round totals.

Through our in-depth guides and reviews, we are focused on providing the best insights into esports betting.
