While the LCS Spring Playoffs are heading toward the semi-finals, the Challenger teams are already approaching the moment of truth in the finals and match for 3rd place of the Challenger Spring Playoffs. As you might know the winner of the Challenger Spring Split will directly advance to 2015 Summer Split of the LCS while the Challenger teams placing 2nd and 3rd are fighting against the teams on place 9 and 8 of the last LCS split in the relegation matches of the Summer Promotion to get into the top League of Legends league of their region. A lot is on the line – some players will turn into pros (or in case of Origen’s xPeke come back to the LCS) and other will fall back the Challenger series.
