TSM joins Alliance, SK, and Fnatic at bootcamping in Korea
Since the end of the Playoffs, more and more teams are heading their way to the region with the best teams in the world – South Korea. Alliance, SK Gaming, and Fnatic have all expressed their desires to bootcamp in Korea and now TSM has also flown right to the heart of the eSports capital of the world to bootcamp amongst the best teams in the country. This move will likely help improve the team's skills, mechanics, shotcalling, and strategy when they face off the tougher teams that Korea has produced. Meanwhile, not all teams that have bootcamped in Korea have been successful. It was just recently that CLG received heavy backlash from the community after failing to win a single game in the Quarter-Finals of the NA Summer Split Playoffs after heavily bootcamping in Korea.
Coast Acquires Two Top Korean Challenger Players For Their New Roster
After being relegated to the Challenger Series, Team Coast has now officially earned a spot at the North American Promotion Tournament to be held next week. They have acquired the services of two top Korean Challenger players who are also very skilled and fluent in English. This ultimately means that the team will have no problems with language barrier unlike teams in the LCS. Yongwoo “Miracle” Yi will play as the toplaner while Sangkyun “Ringer” Park will play as the midlaner of the team. They will join Santorin as the jungler, DontMashMe as the carry and Sheep as the support.
