Week 6 of the EU LCS was jampacked with action as only two teams came out unscathed with 2 wins. Millenium and Copenhagen Wolves continued their winning streak after eeking out 2 wins for both teams. And while these teams rejoice with their wins this week, the others have been inconsistent by gaining only one win. Meanwhile on the other end of the spectrum, you have Fnatic who have descended into the abyss with a 7 losing streak. They are the only team in the EU LCS that have garnered a 7 winning streak and then continued with a 7 losing streak. As the second half of the Spring Split commences, will Fnatic be able to regain their momentum and once again be the top EU team?

Preview and Predictions LCS EU Week 7 Day 1
ALL vs FNC (February 27 10:00PST/ 19:00CET)
Once again Fnatic disappointed a lot of fans in Week 6. It seems like both teams who have had a lot of following are destined to meet each other in the Rift to see who is the top caliber team that have gone to get the record for most losses in a row in the LCS. And while this might not be the winning week for Alliance, they can play by their strengths and can still beat Fnatic. Alliance needs to beat down the already beaten down Fnatic and secure another win for this week even if this is an odd-numbered week for them.
Prediction: Fnatic continues to lose but this could be their turning point if they can find a good way to get out of their slump.
SK vs SHC (February 27 11:00PST/ 20:00CET)
Both SK and Supa Hot Crew are now vying for the third spot in the standings this week. If either team wins, they will be crowned as the third placer for this week of the split and can ride it out until the end of the split. Supa Hot Crew has had an underwhelming performance last week when they were up against Gambit Gaming’s roster of substitute players and still lost the game. However, they should be learning their lessons this week and perform at their best against SK Gaming. SK Gaming will most likely take this game from SHC but do not leave out the Crew to give it their all.
Prediction: An even matchup for a very meaningful result for both teams.
MIL vs GMB (February 27 12:00PST/ 21:00CET)
Another team that has taken the advantage of riding the momentum is Millennium. After a losing streak around Week 4, Millennium decided it is time that they stop moping around and get a gaming house of their own. With that, there were clear improvements to how the team plays the game. Their teamfighting abilities have drastically been improving ever since they acquired their own gaming house and have normal practice sessions. And while Millennium is still sharpening their skills, Gambit Gaming will have their complete roster this week and chances are Alex Ich and company will have to play catch up with their time off from the LCS Stage.
Prediction: Gambit needs to adapt immediately after a week of absence if they want to grab another point.
ROC vs CW (February 27 13:00PST/ 22:00CET)
Can Roccat be beaten at this point? It depends. Roccat has been innovators of the EU LCS meta. They have incorporated Kayle back to competitive play and have made Morgana a famous counter to the Leona, Annie, and Thresh trifecta of supports. Now, with their innovation, they have opened up a lot of new supports back into the fold at the bot lane. However, the Wolves have also been dominating on their own. This can lead to an upset against one of the best teams in Europe right now. But, the problem now is that the Wolves love to follow the meta while Roccat seem to have a meta of their own that counters well to the current meta. This can pose a real problem for the Wolves and if they are not able to adapt during pick and ban phase then they may run into some problems later on.
Prediction: Roccat solidifies their stance at the top spot.

TOP GAME OF THE WEEK
FNC vs GMB
(February 28 10:00PST/ 19:00CET)
Fnatic will surely want its groove back and what better way to do it than to be pitted against an old rival. It seems like Fnatic is drawn to older teams as they know each other’s abilities and capacity. This can help Fnatic get the win they need and if not then they will never be able to bounce back from the losing streak. What Fnatic needs to do is to solidify their play and take champions that they are comfortable playing. It was painful to watch xPeke going 0-6-0 with Syndra at mid. xPeke has never been successful at Syndra hence it was highly questionable why he picked such champion. If Fnatic realizes these mistakes then they can work towards correcting it and play a more safe yet methodical game.
But, when you speak of safe and methodical game, you also have Gambit Gaming who are known to have brash and aggressive gameplay but can also revert to a more subtle and quiet strategy. Gambit will have to ban out the star players from Fnatic in order to throw them off their game once again. And if Fnatic decides to slow down the pace then they can easily beat them at their own game. Gambit will have an edge on this matchup.
Prediction: It will be a terrifying game for Fnatic but it will most likely grab them their much needed win.
CW vs MIL (February 28 11:00PST/ 20:00CET)
Last week the Wolves were matched up with Millennium and their game was a blast. Both teams managed to even up the game but it was Forg1ven’s Lucian that managed to get a record breaking 658 CS. This led to a lot of items for the Wolves and with Unlimited’s amazing plays with Leona, they managed to secure a win for the time. This time around, Millennium will have the idea on how to play against the Wolves and will most likely beat them at the early game. If not, then history will repeat itself.
Prediction: If Millennium can dominate the early game then they stand a chance.
ALL vs SK (February 28 12:00PST/ 21:00CET)
Alliance has fallen in favor as one of the top teams to watch out for in this split. After several rounds of disappointing matchups, the team needs to do something with their shotcalling and rotations as well as itemizations. SK Gaming on the other hand has slowly become a solid team to beat. Look out for CandyPanda to carry the game this time with the help of their solid support player nRated.
Prediction: SK Gaming takes another win.
SHC vs ROC (February 28 13:00PST/ 22:00CET)
This will be another tough match up for the Crew as they will be facing the best team in the EU LCS right now, Roccat. The Crew will most likely get their comfort picks but watch out for Roccat to ban them out in the process. Supa Hot Crew needs to improve and expand their champion pool and not heavily rely on the current meta picks. Impaler needs to get out of using only Vi. He needs to expand his champion pool to Elise, Lee Sin, and even Jarvan IV.
Prediction: Roccat gets another win.
