IWCI Grand Finals: INTZ e-Sports vs. Beşiktaş e-Sports Club   1   :   3

Game 1

The first game in the finals resulted with the victory of INTZ e-Sports. They truly played like champions in their first match. Beşiktaş e-Sports Club didn’t lose hope as they knew that there were still 3 games left in which they can turn the tables.

Game 2

Beşiktaş e-Sports Club were able to pull the Game 2 in their favour. This victory levelled the score to 1-1, and the competition got tougher.

Game 3

After Game 1’s defeat, everybody thought it would be hard for Beşiktaş e-Sports Club to bring them up, but they fired back with a bang. They won Game 3 also with two wins in a row.

Now before proceeding to Game 4, let us tell you what happened in the interval of Game 3 and Game 4. All of those, who follow the game, know that players aren’t allowed to carry any kind of gadget, mobile phone, and other voice-enabled devices with them during the game. But this protocol got broken as BJK’s each player was found with their cell phone. Later, Riot staff took those phones from them. See the image below.

INTZ esports having mobile phones taken away during finals at IWCI Istanbul

Those who are unaware of this rule and don’t know what happens when a player carries such a device with them.

For instance: When an enemy jungler tries to gank, the mobile phone of the player (who is in danger of ganking) vibrates one. Every mobile phone vibrates twice when the enemy team heads towards the baron. This gives an extra advantage to the team.

However, INTZ on their Facebook cleared this. They wrote, and we quote “We don't know anything about that (the cell phones), but even if it happened, we lost for other reasons.”

Game 4

Coming down to Game 4, after all, the mess up that happened that day. Even after this controversy of having an advantage, INTZ didn’t win their last game. They lost the finals to 3-1 against Beşiktaş e-Sports Club. The last and final match of the grand finals lasted for about 37 minutes. Beşiktaş e-Sports Club won the tournament and are now heading to the MSI 2015 which is on May 7th. That’s all folks from our side about The IWCI Tournament. Even after a little controversy, the tournament ended smoothly and Beşiktaş e-Sports Club went home with the winning caps on their heads.
