The battle of the Atlantic tournament draws to a close this weekend (Dec 20th – Dec 22nd) with the final 3 matches between the regions North America and Europe. After the first two matches of the BotA tournament last weekend in Cologne the LCS is in the lead with a slight 2:1 advantage. A lot of action is guaranteed as the teams are not only fighting for the victory price money of $ 5,000 but moreover for the bragging rights to be the better League of Legends region. In addition the winning region of the Battle of the Atlantic will earn another $ 5,000 in prize money per team. The BotA matches will be followed by the matches of the LCS NA Spring Split Promotion for the upcoming LCS Season 2014.
