Big surprise in the LoL summer promotion: 3 new teams in the EU LCS

Team-Alternate-LCS-Summer-Split-300x218The League of Legends Summer Split Promotion (3.6-13 – 6.6.13) ended last monday with a big surprise. Three of the four teams from the last LCS Championship that had to go through the relagation couldnt defeat the amateur teams and lost their spots in the LCS. Only the Copenhagen Wolves could successfully defend their LCS spot against the team “Samurai in Jeans”. No longer part of the LCS will be the Ozone GIANTS, Against All Authority and Team Dragonborn. Those three teams lost their LCS spots in the best of five relagation to Team Alternate, Sinners Never Sleep and Meet Your Makers.

Most impressive was the victory of Team Alternate against the Ozone Giants. Although Team Alternate fell behind 0:2 at the beginning they managed to win the next three games and secured their spot in the LCS (sadly their were no bets on the LCS Summer Splits, they quotes whould have been interessting).

We compiled the best scenes from the deciding match between Team Alternate and Ozone GIANTS, a must see for all esport fans.
