Alle 24 Teams sind qualifiziert und profitieren dieses Jahr ebenfalls von der Preisgeldanpassung, die jedem der Teams einen Anteil an den Erl\u00f6sen der Championship Skins verspricht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Man muss sich auch nicht weit aus dem Fenster lehnen, um zu prognostizieren, dass auch im laufenden Jahr wieder ein s\u00fcdkoreanisches Team den Weltmeister-Titel erringen wird, und vermutlich sogar beide Teilnehmer des LoL WM-Finals aus der LCK stammen. Der dreifache Weltmeister SK Telecom T1 hat nach dem verlorenen Finale bei den LoL Worlds 2017, seine Konkurrenten nicht absch\u00fctteln k\u00f6nnen. Auch im LCK Summer Split erreichte das Team nur den 7. Platz und verpasste im Anschluss auch noch die World-Qualifizierung. Das Team verlor jedoch einige Leistungstr\u00e4ger und hat trotz guten Spielen von Faker die gro\u00dfe Probleme in der heimischen Liga nicht kaschieren k\u00f6nnen. Interessant wird auch zu sehen, ob die Kluft zwischen westlichen Teams und jenen aus China und S\u00fcdkorea etwas kleiner geworden ist oder sich wieder vergr\u00f6\u00dfert hat. Die Regional Gewinner von China (LPL), Europa (EU LCS), Taiwan\/Hong Kong\/ Macau (LMS) und Nordamerika (NA LCS) m\u00fcssen sich aber ebenfalls \u00fcber das Play-In Event qualifizieren.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das eigentliche Turnier besteht aus der Play-In Stage 1 und Play-In Stage 2, anschlie\u00dfend findet die Gruppenphase und dann die Playoffs statt. In der Play-In Stage 1 werden alle 12 Teams in vier Gruppen aufgeteilt und es wird im Double Round Robin Verfahren im Bo1 gegeneinander gespielt. Die besten zwei\u00a0 einer jeder Gruppe qualifizieren sich f\u00fcr die Play-In Stage 2, in der eine zuf\u00e4llige Paarung der 8 Team stattfindet. Jedes Match in Stage 2 wird dann im Bo5 ausgetragen &#8211; der Gewinner qualifiziert sich f\u00fcr die Gruppenphase.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Die Gruppenphase wird dann noch aus 16 Teams bestehen; 12 Direktkandidaten aus den eigenst\u00e4ndigen Regionen und 4 Teams, die die Play-In-Stage 2 geschafft haben. Auch hier wird es 4 Gruppen geben und es wird im Double Round Robin Bo1 gespielt. Dieses Jahr hat sich Riot ein neues Preisgeldsystem \u00fcberlegt und wird nicht wie bisher 25% der Erl\u00f6se auf das Preisgeld hieven, sondern mit 12,5% alle qualifizierte Teams am Preisgeld teilhaben lassen. Also werden mindestens 12,5% an der Erl\u00f6se an alle 24 Teams verteilt und die anderen 12,5% werden auf das Preisgeld addiert.
